Theatre 2 is the section that meets E Block. Below is a course description along with the syllabus, (which is a vision subject to flexibility & change!)
Theatre Workshop 2 takes experienced students on a more in-depth exploration of acting, directing and production skills. Curriculum will be layered & tailored to meet the individual needs of students grades 9-12, while supporting the structure of THE ENSEMBLE. Daily vocal & physical warm-ups, fine tuning the "Critical Eye" (critiquing self & others,) and development of technical skills are emphasized through lessons & projects.
Emphasis will be placed on advanced vocal techniques, exploration of scripts & characters and critical analysis. *All Theatre Workshop students are required to help with current drama department productions, by working a minimum of 5 after school hours in a technical area of choice.
